Dr. Schultz earned her DVM from the University of Illinois in 2007 and joined Midwest Animal Hospital in March 2016.

What is your favorite part about working at Midwest?

I love working with all of the people here. I finally have veterinary colleagues with whom I can collaborate and review cases. I love the willingness of the staff to help with my patients, and teaching and mentoring students.

What are 3 things people would be surprised to know about you?

I'm an only child, I have a tattoo, and I'm able to swim long distances now (thanks to swimming with my son!).

If you could be any animal, what would you be?

I would be a dolphin because then I could swim all day every day in my favorite place, the ocean.

What do you love to do when you’re not at work?

I love swimming, walking with my family, reading, baking, and painting. I will also play my flute occasionally.
